As with many commodity industries, the farmers of raw cocoa beans in Ghana are generationally stuck in poverty because the profits from the cocoa trade are absorbed by the chocolate retailers. With that in mind, we started Schoklux, a powdered hot chocolate with equitable profit-sharing at its core, aimed at funding schooling for the children of farmers and breaking the poverty cycle.
With Singapore Polytechnic and Food Empire, we have been working to develop Schoklux's own unique taste that can be used to accentuate the various flavors in Ghanaian Cocoa Beans
As we begin to sell this product to the public, they will be able to sponsor the children of Ghana and their education, leading to their growth in academic disciplines, and eventual ability to grow their community
NBIC prides ourselves as requiring as few intermediaries in the sale and processing of Schoklux, reducing the total number of cost centers and ensuring that the % of revenue reaching Ghana is optimized
